Festival of Poker 2020/2021 tournaments have been announced. We have five different games running from December 28th to January 2nd. I know people have been asking about the festival so I look forward to catching up with you all. And remember, for those games with no late registration, you won't be allowed to register once the clock has started. The Tournament of Champions is a new addition to the Australian Poker Tour for Season 3/4. Any player, during season 3/4, who wins an event as an individual will qualify for the Tournament of Champions that will be held in Brisbane at our season Finale. There will be a total prize pool of $25,000 and the winner is guaranteed $10,000 cash! Amy MacDonald announces today the details of a major European tour – her biggest shows since 2010. The tour will culminate with a London show at the historic Roundhouse. It’s sure to be a hot ticket after Amy’s previous headline tours in 2017, 2018 and 2019 included sold-out shows at the Royal Albert Hall and the Eventim Apollo.

- All furniture and temporary structures will be cleaned on a scheduled basis.
- Temperature checks for all players and staff on a daily basis and where a concern is raised.
- Physical distancing in the premises: we will increase the number of staff working queue management. Signage will also be placed throughout the gaming areas to offer guidance and instructions in a clear, concise manner. Printed signs and digital screens will be used for this purpose.

Running over the field early in the day, Bob Reiter needed more than three hours heads-up to defeat Tan Hoang and earn the HPT Black Hawk Main Event title. Reiter takes home $157,614 for the victory.
'I just ran incredibly well early in the day,' said Reiter as he scored the first three eliminations of the day, taking out Matthew Wantman (9th), Jason Welch (8th) and Jacob Battenberg (7th).
Once heads-up play began, Reiter had about a 3-1 lead on Hoang. The match went jsut shy of four hours, however, before Reiter claimed the win.
'I was trying to hammer away, steal a lot of pots, and he was trying to trap me,' said Reiter. 'That was such a challenge, three hours and it feels like longer. I feel very fortunate.'
The Reiter's have new baby, two weeks old, so part of the prize money is going to necessary items.
'Definitely some diapers, We gotta get him some onesies also. We didn't know it was going to be a boy and we only have girls' clothes right now,' Reiter said.
Hoang has back-to-back HPT Black Hawk runner-up finishes, his $96,354 payday today goes along with last September's runner-up finish to Jay McVeigh here for $85,123.
Taylor Black (3rd), former HPT Black Hawk champ Thomas Fuller (4th), Eli Loewenthal (5th) and George Medina (6th) rounded out the final table finishes.
Others who earned a HPT Black Hawk Main Event cash this weekend was Danny Gonzales (10), Ed Sebesta (28), Ryan Dodson (32), David Gutfreund (34), Aaron Johnson (35), James Pupillo (37), Hill Kerby (45) and John Beauprez (50).
